bummer!

Woodblock Print on Moleskine

I don't have a lot of time. The housekeeper that was supposed to come today to help with the cleaning before my inlaws get here tomorrow canceled. Calling an hour and a half after she was supposed to show up saying she got stuck in traffic really bad and gave up and went home.

I don't buy it. This is the second time she let me down, before it was a cleaning before my dad got here. But that time she did have a very good reason. But so far the every other week cleaning has been once a month due to her not showing up. I think it is time to find somebody else. It would be one thing if it was just another day but her not showing means we have a lot more we need to do to prepare for his parents and brother. Not cool. This means I have even less time to blog, list on Etsy and most importantly make art with my free time. And pretty much no time to simply chill.

So last night I was feeling edgy and took one of my printed on scraps of paper and glued it to a blank moleskine sketchbook. ta dah!. I like it so much I think it is too good for me. I've been sketching a lot lately but my sketches are so rough I have a hard time tarnishing beautiful sketchbooks.

And I still need to tell the story of the mouse in our bathroom Saturday morning. It is a good one too! No time. Thankfully he looked like he was a new resident since there is no trace of a mouse making himself at home for awhile.
