I had this idea for a pattern that I wanted to try out as quickly as possible before commiting to doing a large scale block, these prints are a mere 4" x 4". Since I have a bunch of small blocks of wood I carved some of them quickly then printed them out. I made a good amount of them so I can experiment with adding other layers to some of them. This first one was done by printing a ghost print first then inking up the block, turning the paper and printing it again. They have heavy embossing that shows up in the scan but looks even better in person. I printed on some thin Kozo paper I got at the SMFA awhile back.
