I could never get my hair like the kind in my artwork
No patterns, no colors just a pain in the neck. Especially since having the baby. So off it went today! Not only do I love how it looks and how it feels but as an added bonus I had just enough cut off to give to Locks of Love! My mom had cancer and actually never got her hair back unlike most cancer patients so this was a wonderful bonus. I never thought I would have enough hair to give. See, not getting my haircut for over a year was a very good thing! The stylist commented on how thick my hair is despite the shedding it doesn't matter with my hair. I always get comments like that when my hair gets cut. Now I can actually blow dry my hair!
On the way over I ran into one of my arty printmaker mommy friends from the JP Open Studios. She has a son that is two months older than blee. And he weighs LESS than her! Oy! We are going to get together on Friday, it should be nice. Wait until she gets a load of blee! She hasn't seen her since she was under a month old.

The lower African Queen photo is awesome! Is it the block? I can't tell . . .
Your hair is cute!
Blee- little hungry girl I guess. :)
Thank you, it is not the block but a one color print that I then hand colored. Something I have been meaning to try for awhile and this new block seemed perfect for it.
marissa, i LOVE your haircut! it has the perfect swwooopyswishyness to it! what a great cut!h
Great haircut and great artwork!
Looking good.
Always liked your figurative work.
GREAT haircut! However (thinking back to when I had my long hair cut off) I predict you will have a growing affection for scarves around your neck in cold weather! ;)
