It looks like it will be a lot of fun yet maddening work that will really pay off in the end. But for now I need to concentrate on this block so I can print as soon as possible. I don't think I will be printing today as originally planned, but I can shoot for Saturday. I don't have plans until five so I should be able to get some printing in if I am committed to it.

Last night we went to an art opening in Salem. It was for the husband of a friend of mine and I liked his work a lot. We then went to Salem Beer Works and hung out. We got invited to go bowling tomorrow. I think being around people helped take my mind away from my obsessions and I feel so much better. I actually have quite a few plans for the weekend and for next week. I am trying not to feel overwhelmed by them.

I was going to try to hit NYC next Sunday so I can make the printmaking show, but I may be too exhausted. I don't know.

I really enjoy your blog. I am an artist from Detroit and I just moved to Boston--so I would appreciate any advice about the Boston art scene.
My sister and I have a blog at http://kellydarke.blogspot.com/ and we would appreciate any comments. My sister just started trying to create some wood block prints, with success. I am thinking about giving it a shot, and your work is very inspiring.
