I can't say enough about how wonderful my new Flexcut carving tools are. They are reminding me how much I love working with wood. They carve so well and are easy to keep sharp. And they are so comfortable to use! I am working on an old large block trying to get it finished. I am trying to get some larger pieces done to take to galleries. My goal is to have larger more expensive pieces in galleries and keep my smaller stuff on Etsy.
Yesterday was a rough day for me. I was super depressed and sensitive, so bad that I had a hard time working. But I did manage to get some done. I feel a lot better today and am hopeful that I will finish this block. I actually don't know when I am going to print again because I am just so focused on carving right now. After I finish this one I have at least one other piece that I want to carve. I need to brainstorm new ideas some more.

Love the wood-curls. So sensuous. I've been in an odd mood since Jan. and my art isn't coming easily for some reason. My good friends always remind me to just enjoy the process of your art and utilize this down time for inner-reflection.
