My portfolio is getting huge and these prints aren't getting me into shows so I am thinking about putting them up on Etsy after all. My work is getting better every month so why not? I have been at this woodcut thing for under a year still. Maybe I should wait until I have a few years under my belt before getting serious about showing in galleries. Why keep them in a portfolio when they could be enjoyed? Because they are still dear to my heart they will be priced a little higher.
What do you guys think?

Hi Marissa,
Depends what you want from your portfolio. Two things that might be reasons for keeping some of your earliest prints: 1) you can see how far you've come at some future date and 2) the value of those prints will rise as your stature rises. I like this one, too.
Hello Marissa, I really enjoy your prints. I don't know how many of these prints that you have, but I would keep at least one of each print made for your portfolio. You just never know when you might need one, especially if you're thinking about grad school down the road. My ceramics mentor regrets not having kept some of her work and has advised me to keep some of mine. Make sure you photograph your work if you do plan to sell them.
Cytnthia my prints are all one of a kind.
I think I may have to hang on to this one. I just love it too much.
wow, you've only been doing this for a year? i was thinking you'd been at this for awhile...nice work!
