Merry Christmas!

Any happy holidays to those that do not celebrate Christmas. But since tomorrow is Christmas I am covering that one first.

I haven't felt like writing much lately. But I am making art. Cutting paper, playing with gold and getting my fingers messy. It's fun and exciting. I also have some fun art stuff to play even more with coming hopefully this week.

What I want for Christmas is that all the art people ordered from me arrived by today, earlier would be ideal. I sent everything by the deadline but you never know.

I'm thinking a lot about this past year, both good and bad and what I want for next year lately. What I want for my family and what I want for myself. And how I want to be. Finding a way to allow myself to be happier because I am getting tired of the up and down fleeting happy moments followed by crashes. This is a time to surround myself and be thankful for all that I have to be happy about and I have mostly brooded about what is wrong with me, others and more than anything else lately the state of the world and how scared I am.

But despite this I am making some of the brightest, most colorful and vibrant work of my life. So I must be doing something right.

I hope everybody is able to be with family this season, in whatever form family is to them. That is what life is about not the things that are being pushed down our throats. Except for art of course, that is very important too! Original woodblock art most of all.

Quite a grip

I can relate to your sentiments in so many ways... and also to your resolutions, your desire to keep evolving as a person and an artist. I get the sense of peace and solidity in your course of action. It is so inspiring.... and beautiful. Many blessings to you and yours. And cheers to a new year filled with many new positive creations and rewards. :)
